Tex2Tex™ and PELINOVA® are part of GANNI’s Fabrics of the Future, a programme set up in 2019 by GANNI to research, test and eventually scale innovative materials that challenge conventional material methods, paving the way for the future of fashion.
Tex2Tex™ takes polyester textile and yarn waste from pre-consumer waste, to create a new recycled polyester fibre, without relying on virgin fossil fuels or plastic bottles. PELINOVA® is bringing a fresh perspective to leather by reclaiming leather scraps from the fashion and upholstery industries and blending them with TENCEL™ Lyocell, to create a recycled leather material that reduces reliance on virgin resources.
